Tina Fay was a writer and director for “Mean Girls” which is a teenage movie in comedy genre and it stars Lindsay Lohan, Rachel McAdams, Lacey Chabert, and Amanda Seyfried. Cady, from the movie, her story begins in South Africa.She was homeschooled and now enrolled in an American high school, which is a huge change from her previous education.
Wynn and Dank, guys she makes friends with, inform her about Regina George’s group, at that time, they were called the Plastics. The film was created, and especially the screenplay, by Tina Fey, who based the film script on her experiences at Upper Darby High School and on the book, entitled “Queen Bees and Wannabes” written by Rosalind Wiseman.
This movie, as everyone knew, was widely acclaimed thanks to its actors’, directors’ and humorists’ contributions. “Mean Girls” was a real show-stopper, attracting lots of audience from around the world and raking $130.1 million in the cinemas worldwide. It starts by telling Caddie’s journey to become one of the popular Plastics and her battle of burning revenge with their for lifetime malice, but at the end she discovers there is a price to pay to become one of them.
The movie inspired other adaptations, including as a Broadway musical and a sequel.It addresses issues including bullying, social cliques, and teenage identity and is well-liked by viewers thanks to its charming characters and funny portrayal of high school dynamics.
